First Birthday Party

We had Alex's First Birthday Party on Saturday. Our friends came over for a pool party. Despite the forecast for 60% chance of rain and storms, we stayed dry and even had some sun.
We had a great time with all of our friends - thanks to all for helping us celebrate Alex's big day!

We played in the pool all afternoon....


Grilled out for dinner and then had cake..we had a "summer/pool" theme - so I made a fish cake....



After dinner the "big" kids entertained themselves by playing in the rocks....


And the little babies just cooed and smiled at each other.....
