I forgot how fun this stage is! Brodie is a little sponge just doing and learning new things every day.
He "talks" all day long. It is like he is just walking around and labeling everything that he sees along the way.
Brodie is starting to say new words all the time, here are a few current ones..
"kaka" - cracker. (He stands at the pantry door and signs "more" while saying "kaka" over and over).
"Alah" - Alex. He yells this at the top of his lungs.
"shhhzz" - shoes
"usshh" - wash - and will stand by sink and pretend to wash his hands
Brodie also signs - "more", "milk" and "all done".
Brodie and Alex are playing more and more together. It usually ends in tears, but they can also make each other laugh like no one else. Eric and Alex will play a game where they hunt dinosaurs and Brodie is always a few steps behind, laughing and roaring like a dinosaur. There is a lot of wrestling. Brodie will jump on Alex and Alex loves it. The hardest part is helping Alex remember that Brodie is still little and he needs to be gentle.

Watching the garbage truck out the window together...
Very big into playing doctor lately...lots of shots...daddy was very sick...
Alex will put blankets on his head and hide under them. Brodie now loves to do this and walk around with a blanket on his head- which as you can imagine never ends well :).
Brodie still LOVES outside. He stands at the door and waves bye bye.
Loves to swing....

Loves to jump on the tramp. He will squat down like he is going to jump and then stand up and smile, so proud of himself, like he jumped...

He is a great eater - LOVES blueberries. He is a little moocher ;). Even if he just finished eating he will come up to anyone who has food and sign "more" frantically until you give him a bit of whatever you are eating.

He insists on feeding himself. He is doing pretty well with a spoon.
He has become very attached to his little teddy snuggle/blankie. When we are upstairs he will go pull it out of his crib and walk around with it and he cuddles it and rubs his fingers on the silky part when he goes to sleep. He has also become more attached to his paci. We keep them in his crib, but he has been finding them lately. Brodie is working on his last two 1 year molars and has been wanting his paci for some comfort.
He continues to be a very sweet and happy little boy. He occupies himself very well, just wandering around the house or outside exploring.
