Alex still loves vacuums and golf clubs, and has now added umbrellas to his list of obsessions.
He LOVES to wrestle on the floor with us. If you are laying on the ground you are fair game and he will come crawling full speed with his "auuuughhhh" war cry and climb and pull and is just such a boy.
He spends many hours putting things in and taking things out of drawers, baskets, etc. He is so happy on the deck moving blocks and rocks from his shopping cart to his wagon to the wheelbarrow, etc.
He just started waving "bye bye" this week, it isn't pretty, but it's a wave ;).
He has expanded the "more" sign to his universal sign for everything and often it is more of a clap and when he wants something he just claps at you. If he wants the vacuum turned on, some of our food, to go outside, etc. He just gestures at the object and then claps at us.
He is not walking yet. He will randomly let go of something and take 3-4 steps independently, but then may not do that again for a day or two.
I am stating that "nana"/banana is pretty much his first official word as he says it very consistently now. Everything else is pretty much "da" or "dat" almost like he is saying "that".
He is still a great eater - he pretty much dives in and eats with two hands shoveling it in as fast as he can. He loves fruit. Bananas are still his favorite. He likes noodles and spaghetti sauce and I can get lots of veggies mixed in there. He is getting more and more independent and wants to have the bowl or container I am feeding him from. Here is his sheer excitement when I let him hold the bowl..
Still has just the 4 teeth.
He is doing great in the pool. He will kick his legs when he is "swimming".
