MICHIGAN!!!
We started our vacation with a wedding weekend. Eric's brother, Jason, married a fantastic girl - Valerie. It was a beautiful day for a wedding. Here are some shots my mom sneaked while the photographer was shooting...
All the cousins...
The Postma Clan...
After enjoying a night away from the boys and breakfast with Eric's siblings we headed back out to Grand Haven to my parents. Alex enjoyed some time at the beach in the afternoon. The water was 50 degrees and hurt to walk in it - but he didn't care!
Then after dinner we had an early birthday party for Alex. He picked a Spiderman theme. Presents...Alex and his cousin, Isaac, set up a whole "present opening island" for Alex to sit on and open his presents.
Cake!
On Monday Alex took swim lessons from a good family friend and went fishing with Papa and his cousins. Momma was hanging with her good friend getting pedicures, so no pictures from the fishing adventure.
On Tuesday we headed to the Grand Rapids Children's Musuem. We went here in December and Alex has been talking about it since, so it was a must stop for our visit. It was interesting to see the boys different personalities. Brodie stuck with each activity for 20-30 minutes and sat and drove the VW Bug for about 45 minutes while Alex always had to quickly move on to the next exciting area.

On Wednesday we headed to stay a couple of days at Eric's sister's and brother-in-law's place. They are awesome hosts and our boys were so happy there. Alex LOVED LOVED LOVED all of his big boy cousins and I think we went hours without seeing him. He especially loves his big cousin, Chandler, and we hear daily how much he misses Chandler. They played with all of their ride on toys, jumped on the tramp, played football, hunted for frogs, etc.
Tackle Football...
4 Wheeler Rides..
Hopefully we have a picture on one of our phones. Brodie LOVED the pedal tractor ride on toy. He would sit on it for hours and insisted on Grammy pushing him around on it for hours. He would get her to push him to the end of the driveway to get rocks and pine cones. He was so happy here!
Alex had birthday party #2 on Wednesday night. This one was a combo spiderman/policeman theme because I couldn't find the police car pinata ;).
Pinata fun...
Not sure why this is sideways...
Presents...Lots of policeman stuff which he obviously loved!
Cake...
On Thursday we headed to the farm...
Chicken egg....
Tractors...
Checking out the chickens with Auntie Ang...
Loving the calf...
Family picture on the farm - boys are done and not in the mood ;)
We finished up our trip with a few more days in Grand Haven at Julie's parents. Grandma did a lot of babysitting for us which we so greatly appreciate. I walked in one day to witness this jam pile. They were playing policeman or spiderman or something and poor Grandma got attacked ;).
We headed down to the boardwalk for ice cream and mini golf...
Brodie did awesome with his first ice cream cone. He kept looking at me and smiling like, "are you really going to let me have this thing?"
Alex was SO EXCITED to go miniature golfing. It was such a cheap course I let him play it twice and he thought it was the greatest fun ever.
