Catching up on what we have been up too....

Brodie's favorite play spot -

We have been enjoying some AMAZING Fall weather - sunny and warm!  We spent the weekend outside.  Both boys LOVE being outside.

Alex is Eric's little shadow and must do everything that he does....Daddy takes his shirt off and you can be sure that 2 seconds later Alex is shedding his...

Alex found a bug...

We went to our local Train Museum last week...here are a few shots...
Alex LOVES pretending to be a fireman lately so he was very excited about this area at the museum...

And finally, from the mouth of Alex...He manages to make me laugh several times a day with how his brain works.  Here are a couple of recent conversations/comments...

When giving me a hug goodnight...
Me:  "Wow! That was a huge hug"
Alex:  "Did I squeeze your head off?"
Me:  "Not quite, but it was a really big hug"
Alex:  "Did I just crack your neck a little bit??"

At dinner the other night...
Alex: "Mommy let's talk about old people stuff tonight" :)
(When we walk at night he is always saying "Excuse me Momma what are you and Daddy talking about?" and sometimes Eric will say "just some old people stuff).

He also likes to ask if he can "stay up really early tonight" :).

Alex is big into imaginative play lately. Here are a few videos of Alex.   He likes to watch the Crocodile Hunter with Eric sometimes, so on this particular day he was pretending to hunt lions....

The scary man he talks about in this one is a Halloween monster that he saw at Lowes - one of those that is activated when you walk close to it - pretty much terrified the poor child!
