Oppressive.....

....basically describes our current weather pattern. Record setting heat is getting really old. Our daily routine is to play outside from 6-7 am - then we take a short walk around 7:30 and I am drenched by the time we get done walking. The pool temperature is 92 degrees - hardly refreshing. We can't even be outside unless we are in the pool - we will officially say it - WE ARE SO SICK OF THIS HEAT!!!


Anyway - lots of playtime inside these days.

Alex pretty much spends his days walking around the house with different objects in his hand - he just loves to be walking. He goes upstairs to play about 100x a day and walks between all the rooms and helps "reorganize". We have some trains in boxes in the guest room he loves to explore and he loves to wreak havoc on his once organized closet...


He is also perfecting his climbing skills...


When Eric gets home it is all about daddy and Alex has to follow him everywhere - this is him trying to figure out where daddy disappeared to when Eric went into the bathroom...
