Papa and Grandma

Papa and Grandma came to visit this past weekend.  They were lucky to exchange the cold and snow of Michigan for the sunny 70's of the South. 

We spent all day Saturday playing outside.  Alex had Grandma working in the garden all morning.  In the afternoon, Alex had to be one of the guys watching MSU basketball. 

Am hoping he was just holding Papa's beer for him....

Brodie was loving bubbles all weekend and attempting to blow them himself...

 Sandbox fun...

 On Saturday night Eric and I got out for a date night.  We enjoyed the beautiful weather and sat outside to eat at Bridge Street.  Papa and Grandma walked the boys to Zen Beri for frozen yogurt after dinner.  

On Sunday we all went to Church and enjoyed a nice brunch at Grill 29 where we were able to sit outside on the patio.  Both boys behaved extremely well. 

Papa and Grandma took Alex fishing on Sunday afternoon.  He was thrilled to catch two fish.  He had about as much fun playing with the worms as he did fishing :). 

 
We had a little rain on Monday, so Grandma entertained the boys inside for a little bit.  Alex got a sword for his prize at the dentist that morning, so he and Grandma had some sword adventures...

They stayed until Tuesday morning to help watch the boys so I could get some things done.  We appreciated the extra sets of hands and ran a lot of errands and got a lot of projects around the house done.  It was a great weekend.
