Alex's Perfect Saturday

Well if there had been a trip to a golf course or the driving range it would have been completely perfect,  but it was still a pretty good day in Alex's book....

Saturday started with some yard work with Daddy.  Alex is such a little mini-Eric.  He just looks up to Eric and has to do everything exactly like Eric.  Eric got dressed in his swimsuit on Saturday morning and before we knew it Alex had gone upstairs by himself without saying a word to us and went through his drawers to find his swimsuit so he could wear it just like daddy.  Then he asked me why Daddy didn't have a shirt on and I said because Daddy was hot.  Alex said he was hot too and did not need to wear a shirt either ;).

Trimming the bushes  -

 Mowing the grass.  I came out a little too late, but Alex had been walking right behind Eric, following his path...

And the big event - the first swim of the year.  Alex was a little careful for the first minute - it could be that the water was a little chilly yet...

 After the initial entry into the pool, Alex had no fear and no hesitation.  He was jumping off the side, jumping off rafts, the ladder, etc.  He then followed Eric to the diving board and leaped off without giving it a second thought...
