Here is what he is up to these days:
*Last week when we were at the doctor for an ear check he weighed 18 lbs 14 oz.
*GRABBY hands defines him these days. He must grab at everything in sight. Both Eric and I have admitted to a fear of dropping him as he will suddenly twist and turn in your arms to grab at something that caught his eye.
*Grabby hands really applies to food and he definitely wants what we are having. He eats 3 solid meals a day and we are just starting to work on eating some real food - pieces of banana, peas, gerber puffs, etc.
*He has his first tooth. This past weekend his first tooth - bottom right - poked through. We think the left one is working it's way through now.
*LOVES to be outside.
*LOVES books. His favorite playtime activity is to stand at the bookshelf and pull books off to look at. He loves lift-the-flap books and will laugh when he lifts the flap to see what was hiding underneath.
*He has no desire to crawl and just wants to walk around all day. He will fuss in the direction he wants to go and then if we stand him up he will walk one foot in front of the other to where he wants to go as we support him.
*Looks for objects when he drops them or we remove them from sight.
*Talks and talks all day long. (mama, dada, ahna, baba, puh)
*Sleeping through the night 10-12 hour stretches is a distant memory thanks to illness, teething and stuffy nose
