Happy 6 Months Old Today!

I can't believe our baby is already 6 months old. It has gone so fast and he has changed so much.

Here is a look back at the last six months...

Newborn:

We have our 6 month appointment next week so I will post weight and height then.

Here is what is up with Alex at 6 months old:

He is sitting up unassisted, but still tips over when reaching for toys, etc.


He will reach his arms up to the sky if we say "up"

He can finally roll both ways. After rolling from front to back at 3 months old, we weren't sure he would ever roll from back to front, probably because he is not that motivated to be on his stomach.

He is exploring with a sippy cup. He pretty much gums it as a teething tool right now.


He just started sucking on his bottom lip and looks like a grandpa who forgot his dentures.


He continues to be a happy little boy. Always quick to smile and laugh.

He is eating solid foods, his repertoire is slowly expanding and basically includes only oatmeal and prunes right now.

He loves Buddy. We can say "where's the puppy?" and he will look around for him.

He sleeps 10-11 hours at night and is slowly becoming a better napper after a recent nap strike, but napping is still not always his favorite thing to do!
